Re: Issue with METARs
I will give that a try. In any event, it also works to either to do what I described in my original post, or else click "to planet" on the PSX instructor page, then cycle the "Set zones by..." checkbox. RealTraffic then unchecks the box and the altimeter settings in RT and PSX so...

Re: Issue with METARs
Hi Balt, I don't know if you've had a chance to look into this, but I wanted to mention that the issue is really only problematic when PSX and RealTraffic connect for the first time. Once they are connected, the "smooth transit" feature is working well--the gradual changes keep the altimet...

Re: Duplicate aircraft?
Here is another, from right now: Callsign DAL158, aircraft N508DN, noted on 10/28/2024 0205Z over Sado, Japan. The two data tags are for the outbound flight (KDTW-RKSI) and the inbound flight (RKSI-KDTW), and one has the MCP altitude and the other does not. Otherwise the data tags are the same and t...

Duplicate aircraft?
Occasionally I see two identical aircraft superimposed upon one another--identical callsign and data tags. When I see them in MSFS (injected by PSXTraffic), there are two aircraft in close formation, with two contrails (one for each). Screenshots and exact times/places if needed; at this exact momen...

Feature request: bubble?
What do you think about a button on the main GUI called "Bubble" (or whatever you like), that when you press it, removes all traffic on the GIU's screen except for those within +/- 3000 ft vertically of the user's aircraft? The idea is that by clicking the "Bubble" button, you co...

Issue with METARs
Hi again Balt, I found something else. Not really a bug maybe, but something to think about. When PSX starts up with the "Set flight zones by flight track..." unchecked, I believe it refers to the last weather saved in its system. If I understand it correctly, if that box stays unchecked, ...

Corridor injection?
Hi Balt, I noticed something with the wind corridor injection tonight. Origin: RJOM Current Position: KMC (Komatsu VOR) Time: 0216Z October 9, 2024 Altitude: FL410 SAT in PSX: originally -19C when reaching FL410, decreasing slowly, -25C as I type this Wind Corridor Point: RTFX1 N3349.2 E13242.6 FL16...

Feature request: Time sync option
So with weather being injected from RT into PSX under "Advanced WX injection," RT is disabling the checkbox in PSX "Set flight zones by downloaded METAR..." This is fine. But doing that actually adds a step in PSX, if you are flying with real-time traffic. That's because with the...
