Hey Balthasar!
I just renewed my license but a nasty bug makes the whole experience a little disappointing.
After a time (sometimes sooner sometimes later) the position of my plane in the RT app freezes. Traffic around my frozen position is still moving but my position in the app keeps where it is, even though my MSFS is running.
I guess its a hiccup between PSXTraffic and RT.
Could you give me instructions on how to properly de-install RT for a fresh new install? With all folders in the "dark"?
Thank you in advance!
Position in RealTraffic App freezes after time
Re: Position in RealTraffic App freezes after time
Hi Florian,
This is a new issue I've never heard of before. Uninstalling is unlikely to fix that. It sounds like there's a communication issue between PSXT and RT. When this happens, try the following:
Quit RT (or PSXT). Make sure the programs are really closed (if quitting RT, make sure no java.exe process is running on your system, using task manager. If there is, kill it). Same for PSXT. Then restart.
Could it be that your system is changing something in the network setup when this happens? i.e. activating a firewall, or changing the connection state of your internet connection?
