What do you think about a button on the main GUI called "Bubble" (or whatever you like), that when you press it, removes all traffic on the GIU's screen except for those within +/- 3000 ft vertically of the user's aircraft?
The idea is that by clicking the "Bubble" button, you could clearly read the data tags for the aircraft that are most relevant, without those data tags being overwritten by aircraft will never be of any operational relevance.
Thanks for considering it!
Will
(Edited to add “vertically” above.)
Feature request: bubble?
Re: Feature request: bubble?
Thanks Will, I'll consider that for the next release.
Re: Feature request: bubble?
This is now implemented in the latest beta (release 255)
Re: Feature request: bubble?
Thanks, looking good!
Re: Feature request: bubble?
Beta 10.0.259 ---
The 3000' bubble is great, thanks!! But it seems to be selected by default whenever I start RealTraffic. (Maybe if someone selects it just once, there's a perpetual entry in a config file that always re-selects that mode every time RealTraffic is started?)
I would recommend that RealTraffic either start with the last selected mode, or else always start with "Show all."
Thanks,
Will

Re: Feature request: bubble?
The selection criteria for the labels should be stored in your local configuration - if you selected the bubble and hit "save" for the configuration it'll reload that. Are you seeing differing behaviour?
Re: Feature request: bubble?
Okay, I see. Hitting Save with "Show all" lets it now load with "Show all" engaged.
Thanks!
Thanks!
