So with weather being injected from RT into PSX under "Advanced WX injection," RT is disabling the checkbox in PSX "Set flight zones by downloaded METAR..." This is fine.
But doing that actually adds a step in PSX, if you are flying with real-time traffic. That's because with the "Set flight zones..." box in PSX unchecked, the sim time will be the sim time that's saved in the PSX situ file. For real world time, you have to go into PSX > Situation > Time and reset the time by clicking "Copy real world UTC...", and you have to repeat this step any time you start PSX or load a situ.
Here's the feature request: Would there be a way for RealTraffic to control the time in PSX the way it controls the "Set flight zones..." checkbox? That feature could be switched on and off in the RT interface, depending on whether a person wanted to fly in real time or not. If you DO fly in real time, then let RT control time in PSX. If you DON'T, then uncheck the hypothetical box in RT, and use the time that is saved in the PSX situs.
Thanks for considering!

Re: Feature request: Time sync option
Hi Will,
thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into that. I'm not sure there's a method to set the time in PSX from externally, but if there is, this shouldn't be too hard to implement.
Now that the backend seems to run stable, I'll need to first spend some time on fixing the historical satellite imagery which currently isn't working.
