I think this buffering delay explains the difference between the traffic on the PSX TCAS (injected by RealTraffic) and the traffic in MSFS (injected by PSXTraffic). I may be wrong about the cause, but the difference is there. You can see it enroute when an aircraft crosses your path, and you can see in on the ground when watching airplanes land.RealTraffic streams position updates of all aircraft around you every two/three seconds. PSXT buffers the traffic 30 seconds for vectorizing.
Mostly the difference is imperceptible, of course.
I wonder if it's worth trying to sync them up though--meaning the TCAS in PSX and the visuals in MSFS. What about an Advanced Setting in RealTraffic that delays injection into PSX by 30 seconds, that can be set ON for people who use PSXTraffic, and ignored by everyone else?
